Job Description We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Artist Development Specialist to join our dynamic team immediately. Key Responsibilities • Identify, scout, and evaluate new artists with significant potential, aligning with Career.zycto's artistic vision. • Develop and implement tailored artist development plans, including vocal coaching, songwriting sessions, stage presence training, and branding workshops. • Collaborate with A&R, marketing, and publicity teams to strategically position artists for maximum exposure and career growth. • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience analytics to inform development strategies and artist positioning. • Act as a primary liaison between artists and various internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and goal alignment. • Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to artists, fostering their creative evolution and professional resilience. • Manage budgets and resources allocated for artist development initiatives, ensuring cost-effective and impactful outcomes. • Organize and oversee showcase performances, recording sessions, and content creation for portfolio development. • Negotiate and manage relationships with external coaches, consultants, and industry professionals. • Track artist progress, measure the effectiveness of development programs, and adapt strategies as needed. Required Skills • 5+ years of experience in artist development, A&R, talent management, or a similar role within the music/entertainment industry. • Demonstrable understanding of current music industry trends, artist branding, and digital marketing strategies. • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. • Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and nurture emerging talent. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. • Proficiency in project management tools and standard office software. • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Entertainment Management, Marketing, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications • Master's degree in a relevant field. • Existing network of industry contacts (e.g., producers, songwriters, publicists, booking agents). • Experience with data analytics and audience segmentation for artist strategy. • Fluency in multiple languages. • Background as a musician or performer with firsthand industry experience.
