AVP/VP, Portfolio Manager, External Managers - Equities

The External Managers Department partners with the world's best investment managers to capture investment opportunities, generate outstanding returns, and collaborate strategically. We seek a candidate to join our New York-based equities team as an Assistant Vice President / Vice President. Responsibilities • Conduct fund manager due diligence, selection, monitoring, and portfolio construction. • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses on investments, strategies, and market dynamics. • Diligence idiosyncratic or tactical market opportunities and co-investments. • Help manage portfolios of hedge fund and long-only managers, and source ideas from those exchanges. Requirements • 5-12 years of equities experience in an analytical role, on the buy-side or sell-side, or similar. • Excellent analytical ability and intellectual curiosity. • Exceptional team player who is also comfortable working independently. • Strong communication skills. • Strong academic credentials.
