Job Summary The Bilingual Teacher Aide will work closely with our educational staff to provide instructional support, assist with classroom activities, and help maintain a well-organized learning environment. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and community members in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will be a team player, flexible, and able to adapt to changing situations. Key Responsibilities Assist professional staff in instructional or supportive services, as directed by the teacher or administrator. Prepare instructional materials and supplies for use in the classroom. Support the supervision of students in various settings, including classrooms, lunchrooms, playgrounds, and other areas as directed. Tutor students as directed by the teacher or administrator. Perform specific instructional or related tasks as assigned. Attend staff meetings and other professional development opportunities as required. Assist with grading papers and maintaining necessary records. Set up displays and equipment as needed. Assist in the maintenance and inventory of materials. Work effectively with students, teachers, parents, community agencies, and other groups to support student success. Respect the confidentiality of records and information regarding students, parents, and teachers. Strive to maintain and improve professional competence. Stay up-to-date with new technologies, data management, and communication strategies. Essential Qualifications Must have completed at least 48 college credit hours or have passed the ParaPro Assessment. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Desire to continue career improvement and professional growth. Health and Inoculation Certificate on file in the Central Office. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in an educational setting. Experience working with diverse student populations. Knowledge of educational technology and data management systems. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Spanish. Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and community members. Strong organizational and time management skills. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
