Business Development Representative

Hayden Homes, in partnership with New Home Star, is seeking a Business Development Representative to strengthen relationships with prospects and existing customers. This role supports the business development pipeline and collaborates with the sales and marketing teams to drive growth and ensure successful project execution. Responsibilities Provides the Business Development Manager with sales support as needed to help drive the sales process forward and provide both internal and external teams with the information they need to be successful Collaborate with Business Development Manager and Marketing Department on investor lead-generation strategies and assist with the execution of those strategies as needed Host and attend networking events, trade shows, and builder workshops throughout the regions we build Assist with the preparation of quotes and the compilation of sales aids/documents for potential clients Prepare quotes and marketing materials for prospective clients and draft contracts for new sales orders Host design meetings and assist prospective clients with selecting materials and colors for their projects Maintain regional pipeline by following-up with prospective clients to keep tabs on the progression of pre-contract projects, staying engaged with potential customers, and to maintain accurate estimated sales dates and other milestones for reporting purposes Coordinates with internal team members on upcoming communities and communities in-construction, managing and maintaining all community specifications, details, and system info Coordinate with Business Development Manager and support center departments while launching new communities to ensure that all internal teams are aligned, and the path forward is clear for downstream departments Maintain information and specifications for communities in construction, updating the appropriate departments as needed Collaborate with clients and their marketing teams to confirm that their needs are met and that they have what they need from Simplicity Homes to successfully market and sell (or lease) their new homes upon completion of construction Skills High School Diploma or GED required Sales experience in residential home sales and knowledge of home construction; home building experience desired Background check is required Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, Salesforce capabilities Communicate effectively, both verbal and written to various audiences Work and be productive with minimal supervision Work effectively with internal team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes Prioritize and execute tasks aligned with company needs and strategic goals Execute based on company needs and goals within strategic lens Understanding of residential home construction process Bachelor's degree preferred Sales experience, especially residential home sales preferred Benefits Mileage Reimbursement Paid time off- vacation time, paid sick and safe time(PSST), and paid company holidays Access to Medical insurance that comes with generous company contributions to premiums (subject to all eligibility requirements) Options for Health Savings Account with a company contribution or Flexible Spending Account; for medical and dependent care expenses Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program is available to you and members of your household.
