Job Objectives As a Certified Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary objectives will include: Modeling and delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient Registering sales on assigned cash registers, providing customers with accurate and efficient checkout services Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions Key Responsibilities As a Certified Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, your key responsibilities will include: Customer Experience Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience Operations Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records Performing duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Six months of experience in a retail environment Prior work experience with blithequark Good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications Good computer skills Knowledge of store inventory control PTCB certification Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, patients, and team members Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications Good computer skills, with the ability to use pharmacy systems and other software applications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
