Chief Investor Relations Manager & Chief Strategy Officer
Role Overview The Chief Investor Relations Manager & Chief Strategy Officer (CIR/CSO) is a senior executive responsible for owning Suuvo’s investor relationships, capital strategy, and long-term corporate strategy. This role sits at the intersection of capital markets, investor communications, corporate strategy, and executive decision-making. The CIR/CSO acts as a strategic partner to the Founder and leadership team, shaping how Suuvo is positioned to investors while guiding internal strategy, growth priorities, and capital allocation. The role is both external-facing (investors, strategic partners) and internal-driving (strategy, governance, execution alignment). Core Responsibilities Investor Relations & Capital Leadership • Serve as the primary executive owner of all investor relations • Manage relationships with: • Angel investors • Strategic investors • Institutional investors (current and prospective) • Lead investor communications, including: • Investor updates • Strategic briefings • Fundraising communications • Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and executive briefings • Ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant investor messaging Fundraising & Capital Strategy • Own Suuvo’s capital strategy across all stages: • Angel rounds • SAFE / convertible structures • Equity rounds • Strategic capital partnerships • Partner with the Founder on: • Valuation positioning • Capital structure decisions • Timing and sequencing of raises • Oversee investor pipeline management, tracking interest, commitments, and follow-ups • Coordinate due diligence processes in collaboration with legal and finance teams Corporate Strategy & Executive Planning • Lead the development and execution of Suuvo’s long-term corporate strategy • Translate vision into: • Strategic priorities • Multi-year growth plans • Capital allocation frameworks • Evaluate new strategic initiatives, partnerships, and market opportunities • Advise executive leadership on strategic tradeoffs and execution risks • Ensure alignment between: • Product roadmap • Go-to-market strategy • Financial planning • Investor expectations Board & Governance Leadership • Serve as a key executive liaison to the Board of Directors • Lead preparation of: • Board decks • Strategic updates • Capital and performance reviews • Track board-level decisions and strategic action items • Support strong governance, transparency, and reporting standards Investor Materials & Data Room Ownership • Own all investor-facing materials, including: • Pitch decks • Executive summaries • Financial snapshots • Strategic narratives • Oversee and maintain the investor data room, ensuring: • Accuracy • Version control • Confidentiality • Ensure alignment across legal, financial, and strategic documentation Market, Competitive & Investor Intelligence • Monitor: • Market conditions • Competitive landscape • Comparable companies • Investor sentiment • Provide strategic insights to leadership on: • Investor expectations • Market positioning • Capital environment shifts Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following: • Investor relations • Corporate strategy • Venture capital or private equity • Investment banking • Senior startup leadership • Proven experience working directly with founders and boards • Deep understanding of: • Startup fundraising structures • Valuation frameworks • Investor communications best practices • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong strategic thinking combined with execution discipline • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism Preferred Qualifications • Experience with high-growth technology or creator-economy platforms • Prior C-level or senior leadership experience • Familiarity with Delaware corporate governance standards • Experience managing investor relations through multiple funding stages • Exposure to IPO-readiness or long-term exit planning Key Traits for Success • Executive presence and credibility • Strategic and analytical mindset • Strong judgment under pressure • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Trusted advisor to founders and leadership Compensation & Structure • Executive-level compensation (salary or contract, based on engagement model) • Performance-based incentives • Equity participation may be included based on scope, tenure, and impact Confidentiality & Fiduciary Responsibility This role carries significant fiduciary responsibility and access to highly sensitive financial, legal, and strategic information.
