Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include: Interacting with Beneficiaries and Providers : Respond to customer inquiries via the helpline, providing timely and accurate information. Creating, Formatting, and Proofreading Letters : Develop and review correspondence to ensure accuracy and clarity. Managing Timeliness and Productivity : Prioritize tasks and maintain high productivity levels to meet performance expectations. Decision Making and Problem-Solving : Make informed decisions regarding complex appeals and provide solutions to customer issues. Building Relationships : Foster effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Utilizing Internal Quality Control Tools : Assess individual work and team processes to identify areas for improvement. Requirements Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent : Required. Post-High School Business Courses : Helpful. Medical Terminology : Desired. Excellent Verbal Communication Skills : Must be able to communicate effectively with customers. Customer-Focused and Results-Oriented : Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. General Knowledge of PC-Based Computer Systems : Desirable. Multi-Tasking and Prioritization : Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently. Preferred Qualifications Two to Three Years of Clerical Experience : Including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities. Prior Work in a Healthcare Setting : Recommended. Previous Data Entry or Other Clerical Experience : A plus.
