Key Highlights of Our Internship Program Paid Internship: $25/hour (graduate-level hourly rate) Twelve-week program: May 19 - August 8, 2025 Full-time opportunity: 8am - 5pm CT, with summer hours ending on Fridays at 1pm CT Team building and networking activities: Opportunities to connect with colleagues and leaders across the organization Group projects and career-building workshops: Hands-on experience working on real-world projects and developing essential skills Leadership and cross-functional learning opportunities: Exposure to various aspects of the business and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals Assigned mentor: One-on-one guidance and support to help you grow and develop throughout the internship Senior leader speaker series: Insights and perspectives from senior leaders on industry trends and best practices Lands' End merchandise discount: Enjoy a discount on our products and experience our brand firsthand Responsibilities and Expectations As a Data Science Intern at Lands' End, you'll be working closely with our Data Analytics team to support digital marketing, digital merchandising, and other internal teams with regular reporting, ad hoc analysis, and deep-dive projects. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting Digital Marketing, Digital Merchandising, and additional internal teams with regular reporting, ad hoc analysis, and deep-dive projects Ensuring accurate implementation of data collection requirements by executing quality assurance procedures Training associates to access and use digital analytics to make smarter business decisions Leveraging multiple data sources to generate insights and provide recommendations to improve the customer experience and generate revenue Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing, analytical findings as well as technical requirements Qualifications and Requirements To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following qualifications: Graduate level preferred: Currently pursuing or have completed a graduate degree in a relevant field such as IT, analytics, data science, mathematics, or a related field Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions to business problems Written and verbal communication skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders SQL, Python, or other programming experience: Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with a focus on data analysis and manipulation Adobe and/or Google Analytics experience: Familiarity with web analytics tools and platforms Proficient/advanced in Microsoft Excel: Strong skills in data analysis and visualization using Excel Ability to work independently: Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision What You'll Gain from This Experience As a Data Science Intern at Lands' End, you'll gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects, developing essential skills, and building a network of professionals in the field.
