Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Member Service Representative, you will provide exceptional telephone assistance to our members and providers, addressing a wide range of inquiries including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that every caller has an outstanding experience, reflecting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound calls from members and providers, addressing their inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy. Provide accurate and timely information regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs. Utilize high-speed internet connectivity via an ethernet cable (Wi-Fi is not permitted) to ensure secure and reliable service. Participate in comprehensive training provided by arenaflex, which includes equipment and software necessary for your role. Adhere to the training schedule (first 6 weeks: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday) and subsequent production schedule (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday). Requirements for Success To excel in this position, you must reside within 50 miles of Charleston, WV, and be able to commute to the office when required due to technical issues. You should possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals. The capacity to work independently from home, being self-sufficient and disciplined, is also essential. Essential Qualifications Must be able to commute to the Charleston, WV office when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems. Demonstrate effective communication skills with members and providers, both verbally and in writing. Ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals. Must be able to work from home and prove to be self-sufficient. Preferred Qualifications Experience working remotely in a call center environment. Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare. Education A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Compensation and Benefits The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $25.15 per hour. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geography.
