We’re looking for a strategic, globally fluent Director of International Partnerships to join our Partnerships team and strengthen our partnership development functions across Evo’s international events in Japan (APAC), and France (EU). This individual will help shape, localize, and close commercial partnership opportunities in collaboration with local sales teams, ensuring our international market efforts drive commercial success while honoring local culture and community nuance. Role Overview As the Director of International Partnerships, you’ll serve as the connective tissue across international market sales leads and RTS’ central Partnerships and Evo teams, reporting to the SVP of Partnerships. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with local market teams and agencies in Japan and France to shape go-to-market strategies, craft compelling pitch narratives and proposals, and develop deal frameworks. You’ll also engage directly with prospects to drive and close revenue opportunities with confidence. Additionally, this role will remain involved post-sale through campaign delivery, leading account management and supporting on-site activation at Evo international events to ensure seamless execution from ideation to delivery. This is a role for someone who understands global partnership sales, can package value effectively, can localize the Evo brand within regional culture, and thrives in collaborative environments where strong strategic storytelling and execution alignment drive results. Key Responsibilities: International Strategy & Partnership Development • Partner closely with local market sales teams (Japan, France, US) to co-develop strategic approaches to partnership conversations, category targeting, packaging, and closing. • Translate brand goals into sharp, localized partnership narratives aligned to Evo’s global brand platform. • Build, refine, and optimize proposals, sales materials, value frameworks, and multi-market pitch decks. • Map regional cultural nuance into positioning and ideation to strengthen deal resonance and close rate. • Support deal structure development and negotiations to ensure commercial success and operational viability. • Tracks and manages international deal pipelines; coordinating and communicating across partner agencies as needed Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with the Partnerships and Evo Products teams to align global partnership solutions with upcoming Evo event footprints in each region. • Guide how global creative concepts adapt to each international market, without losing Evo brand integrity. • Ensure seamless internal comms flow between regional markets and the U.S.-based RTS central team. Client & Partner Engagement + Account Management • Join (and often lead) pitch presentations with local teams to articulate narrative, value prop, and activation structure. • Work with partners through the sales cycle from strategic narrative through deal signing. • Maintain involvement post-sale to ensure partnership delivery aligns with intent, scope, and expectations. • Travel to Evo international events (Japan, France, Singapore) as needed and support on-site execution to ensure smooth and successful activation. Requirements: • 5-7 years of experience in partnerships, brand marketing, sponsorship, or commercial development roles. • Deep understanding of the full sales process, from discovery through closing, though this role does not require lead generation. • Proven experience working in or alongside international markets and agencies; familiarity with Japan (APAC) and France (EU) strongly preferred. • Exceptional storytelling and pitch development skills, with high proficiency in Google Slides and the ability to create polished, persuasive presentations. • Background in gaming, esports, creator ecosystems, or entertainment required. • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments across multiple markets and time zones. • Experience supporting or executing live events and brand activations strongly preferred. • Willingness to travel internationally as needed. • Self-starter with a high degree of autonomy and initiative, especially when driving international sales through partner agencies.
