East Region Sales Leader, Amazon One Medical

Amazon One Medical is seeking a Vice Present of Sales to lead Enterprise growth across the East Region. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of sellers, covering roughly one half of the country. We are on a mission to transform healthcare for all. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will work cross-functionally with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders to develop and drive employer sales and commercial strategy within the East Region. You will lead a team of storytellers to paint a compelling picture of Amazon One Medical's vision and strategy that motivates others into action. You have consistently exceeded your team quota, and continue to push your team and yourself. You enjoy leveraging formal and informal networks built from previous experience, and your industry knowledge to anticipate future population health management trends. You will set objectives and targets that align with Amazon One Medical's organizational goals, while taking on new challenges with a sense of urgency, energy, and enthusiasm. What you'll work on: Lead a region consisting of 12+ markets with ownership of the day to day management of sales reps covering Small and Medium Business and Regional segments Represent One Medical and interact with clients across East region, ranging from 250 to 15,000 employees What you'll need: At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least two years selling to companies with more than 1,000 employees At least 3 years in healthcare or wellness-related benefits sales, working directly with consultants/brokers and employers At least 3 years of team management experience in a commercial growth function Ability to position oneself as a thought leader to achieve results Expertise in benefits sales, including timelines and key contacts Demonstrated sales leadership track record Ability to maintain strong internal and external networks Experience selling a non-essential healthcare benefit preferred Key job responsibilities Guide the territory plan for each of the markets that your team covers, defining the actions needed to hit milestones that align with broader organizational goals Refine standard work for operating your team and incorporating cross functional stakeholders such as marketing and clinical operations Actively prospect, build relationships, and secure deals with companies for the territory you directly manage Forecast deal flow and ensure pipeline data is accurate and up to date Work closely with internal teams, including account management, marketing, finance, legal and others, to ensure client success and performance Leverage relationships with consultants, brokers, and other professional networks to strengthen awareness of Amazon One Medical products and services BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of sales experience - Experience managing teams - Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers - Experience planning, managing and closing competitive sales efforts and managing deals from negotiation, to closing and through delivery - At least 3 years in healthcare or wellness-related benefits sales, working directly with consultants/brokers and employers PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience influencing C-level executives - Experience improving and creating new processes and structure to achieve goals - Leading a team selling non-essential healthcare benefits Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
