Endpoint Analyst

The role of the Endpoint Analyst is to build and implement endpoint configurations including Windows, macOS, and end user applications for both virtual and physical desktop environments. An individual in this position is responsible for keeping all Operating Systems and applications up to date and patched, ensuring full reliability and accessibility to the business. In addition, the Endpoint Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users for endpoint devices and serves as next tier support to the internal IT Service Desk on more complex issues. This position provides support for various Information Technology hardware. • We are seeking an Endpoint Engineer to join our team. This role is open to candidates with a range of experience levels. The final level (Endpoint Analyst or Endpoint Engineer) will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience. • * This position is eligible to work hybrid (9 or more days a month onsite) in accordance with our Telecommuting Policy. The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, and training. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts. What you'll do • Test, deploy, and manage client images and provisioning for Windows and macOS endpoints. • Manage, maintain, and evolve enterprise client management systems such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Endpoint Manager (Intune), or JAMF. • Responsible for configuring, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the virtual desktop environment for an ever-growing remote workforce. • Create relevant technical documentation in the form of knowledge base articles to train or guide end users across the organization, as well as other support areas. • Owns projects related to endpoints, Operating Systems, or software, overseeing multiple projects concurrently from start to finish. Accountable for establishing project milestones and project deliverables. • Ensure vulnerability mitigation and the security of endpoints through quick and accurate deployments of patches, upgrades, and configuration optimizations. • Serve as a support point of contact for escalations of end-user inquiries seeking technical assistance. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Strong familiarity with various operating systems such as Windows and macOS administration and administrative tools such as MECM, Group Policy, and JAMF Pro. • Ability to quickly identify, analyze, and respond to incidents involving corporate endpoints. • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Batch scripting to automate repetitive tasks. • Proficiency with managing a virtual desktop environment, cloud computing resources, and subscriptions. • Proficiency with hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting is essential. • Effective communication skills are essential to collaborate cross-functionally, as well as the ability to create easily readable and detailed technical documentation.
