Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for creating new, modifying existing, and implementing ad-hoc reporting to support business processes and data-driven decision making. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify business requirements, maintain complete documentation, and obtain service sign-offs for all reporting requirements. Your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and data visualization will be essential in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and implement reports, dashboards, and data models to support business processes and data-driven decision making Create and enforce robust Data Quality standards and controls to ensure data integrity and access Design, develop, and maintain new report pipelines from source systems to the Data Warehouse Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements, maintain complete documentation, and obtain service sign-offs for all reporting requirements Develop, maintain, and refine scalable reporting pipelines and data models Apply data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI Aid in automating existing business processes and enhancing exception-based reporting Work with IT and Business Analysts to investigate, research, and acquire new data variables (data exploration) Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns that provide actionable insights Thoroughly assess data from multiple sources and resolve discrepancies Validate data for accuracy by verifying against standards Investigate data errors and remediate poor data quality Participate in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures Analyze and validate metrics to ensure effectiveness and provide feedback to department leaders on trends that require attention Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis and reporting Solid experience working with Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and data models Working knowledge of Power BI features such as Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Calculated Specialization, enhancements, rules, provisional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, and more Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to generate reports and analytics Experience with ETL tools, including SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations Solid data modeling experience using star schema or other methodologies Problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical analysis and working with large datasets Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query Familiarity with Smartsheets Strong work ethic, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote environment, with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a distributed team Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or QlikView Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics concepts Certifications in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets and identify meaningful patterns and trends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a distributed team Strong technical skills, with proficiency in a range of data analysis and business intelligence tools Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and proactive approach to work Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
