Job Summary We're looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team, reporting to the General Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, leading a team of line-level employees, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Restaurant Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, customer service, and inventory management. Team Leadership: Manage and coach a team of line-level employees, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure success. Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, resolving complex customer issues, and escalating concerns to the General Manager as needed. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and optimize inventory management processes. Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company standards. Communication: Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and management, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant or similar environment highly recommended. Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Availability: Flexible schedule, with availability to work a wide variety of hours, including early mornings and late nights. Preferred Qualifications: Food Service Experience: Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role. Certifications: Food safety certifications, such as ServSafe or equivalent. Language Skills: Proficiency in multiple languages a plus.
