About the Role As a Business Analyst with arenaflex's Japan Customer Service team, you will play a vital role in analyzing data, building inferences, and delivering compelling and actionable insights to drive business decisions. You will work closely with program managers to develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics that inform our customer service strategies. Key Responsibilities Develop complex SQL queries to retrieve data involving business logics, and build automated reports using Excel and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Build and maintain recurring metrics and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer experience metrics. Conduct ad-hoc data analysis using relational databases, Excel, and other data management systems to identify business trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with program managers to support large-scale feature, product, and business launches, ensuring seamless customer experiences. Plan and execute multiple projects, working cross-functionally and geographically to drive business outcomes. Conducting deep dives to identify customer pain points and potential solutions for reducing concessions and defects. Qualifications Essential Qualifications 2+ years of experience with Excel, Tableau, or other data manipulation and visualization tools, including macros, charts, and pivot tables. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar quantitative discipline. Experience with reporting and data visualization tools, such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI, or other BI packages. Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis and interpretation. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical problems in simple, plain language. English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) and Japanese Business Level or higher (JLPT N1 or N2) are required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with very large datasets and ability to present information professionally and concisely with supporting data. Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Experience engaging with cross-functional teams to implement project and program requirements.
