Job Overview In this remote role, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. You will be the primary point of contact for our members, and your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in delivering exceptional customer service. As a clinical customer service representative, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing proprietary systems, and collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless support. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner, ensuring that all customer inquiries are addressed and resolved efficiently. Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the Communication Log, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all interactions. Look up member information using proprietary arenaflex systems and provide information to the caller, ensuring that all members receive personalized support and guidance. Forward logs requiring further research to the appropriate department, collaborating with internal teams to ensure that all issues are resolved promptly and effectively. Transfer callers to the appropriate queue if the question is of a more complex issue (claims, authorizations, etc.), ensuring that all members receive the support they need in a timely manner. Utilize appropriate resources, including those online, to provide timely responses and resolve customer inquiries efficiently. Manage time to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and appropriate follow-up is done in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding minimum key job accountabilities established for the Customer Service Representative position. Document all calls appropriately, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all interactions and ensuring that all members receive personalized support and guidance. Attend weekly staff and other meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel, collaborating with internal teams to ensure that all members receive exceptional support and guidance. Respond to requests for internal and external customers and/or clients, as required, providing exceptional support and ensuring that all members receive the best possible experience. Essential Qualifications High school Diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of one-year experience performing customer service duties; inbound call center experience preferred. Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate proprietary systems and utilize online resources to provide timely responses and resolve customer inquiries efficiently. Strong verbal communications skills, with excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment. Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and support. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a healthcare or clinical environment, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare concepts. Previous experience working in a remote or call center environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations, and procedures to develop effective solutions. Ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters, with a strong focus on maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of all member information and interactions.
