Job Overview In this remote role, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. You will be the primary point of contact for our members, and your exceptional communication skills, patience, and empathy will be essential in building trust and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a clinical customer service representative, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing proprietary systems, and collaborating with various departments to deliver seamless support. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls in a professional, accurate, timely, and courteous manner, ensuring that all customer inquiries are addressed and resolved efficiently. Ascertain the nature of the call and record information in the Communication Log, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all interactions. Look up member information using proprietary arenaflex systems and provide information to the caller, ensuring that all members receive personalized support and guidance. Forward logs requiring further research to the appropriate department, collaborating with various teams to ensure that all issues are resolved promptly and effectively. Transfer callers to the appropriate queue if the question is of a more complex issue (claims, authorizations, etc.), ensuring that all members receive the support they need in a timely manner. Utilize appropriate resources, including those online, to provide timely responses and resolve issues efficiently, staying up-to-date with the latest information and best practices in the industry. Manage time to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and appropriate follow-up is done in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease. Meet or exceed minimum key job accountabilities established for the Customer Service Representative position, consistently delivering high-quality results and exceeding performance expectations. Document all calls appropriately, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all interactions and ensuring that all members receive personalized support and guidance. Attend weekly staff and other meetings to discuss issues and foster teamwork among department personnel, collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement. Respond to requests for internal and external customers and/or clients, as required, providing exceptional support and ensuring that all stakeholders receive the best possible experience. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: High school Diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of one-year experience performing customer service duties; inbound call center experience preferred. Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate proprietary systems and utilize online resources to provide timely responses and resolve issues efficiently. Strong verbal communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with members, colleagues, and other stakeholders, both orally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience. Ability to display excellent customer service to meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers, with a strong emphasis on empathy, patience, and understanding. Excellent listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical core competencies based on success factors and organizational environment, with the ability to analyze information, problems, issues, situations, and procedures to develop effective solutions. Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task, and manage time, with a strong focus on productivity, efficiency, and attention to detail. Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions, with the ability to adapt to new situations and challenges with ease. Ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the confidentiality and security of member information and proprietary systems.
