Job Overview: Staff Pharmacist We are seeking an experienced and skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team in Philadelphia. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in delivering our mission, demonstrating our values, and providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager in driving and directing your Pharmacy Care Staff, as well as overseeing and managing all aspects of your pharmacy, including patient health, pharmacy professional practice, administrative requirements, quality assurance, customer service, faculty management, inventory management, financial productivity, loss prevention, and workflow management. Key Responsibilities: Patient Health: Provide exceptional patient care and support the development and implementation of patient care programs. Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and ensure that your team is providing high-quality care to patients. Administrative Requirements: Manage administrative tasks, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management. Quality Assurance: Ensure that your pharmacy is meeting quality standards and identify areas for improvement. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and colleagues. Faculty Management: Lead, motivate, and develop your Pharmacy Care Staff to maximize their resources, address development opportunities, and reduce knowledge gaps. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that your pharmacy is well-stocked and efficient. Financial Productivity: Manage financial aspects of your pharmacy, including budgeting and cost control. Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks to prevent losses and ensure a safe working environment. Workflow Management: Manage workflow and ensure that your pharmacy is running efficiently and effectively. Required Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field. An active Pharmacy License in the state of Pennsylvania. Not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List. Vaccination Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA). No pending or prior felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in pharmacy management or leadership. Advanced degree in Pharmacy or a related field. Certification in a specialized area of pharmacy practice (e.g., pharmacotherapy, ambulatory care). Experience with electronic health records and pharmacy management systems.
