About the Role The Manager, Customer Care at blithequark plays a pivotal role in guiding our team leads and staff to achieve operational excellence and deliver outstanding customer experiences. This multifaceted position requires a unique blend of leadership acumen, strategic thinking, and technical expertise to drive team performance, foster a positive work environment, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quantitative and qualitative objectives to drive performance excellence and meet customer care goals. Oversee staffing and scheduling functions to optimize team productivity and efficiency. Compile and analyze reports, and craft departmental communications to inform stakeholders and drive informed decision-making. Participate in strategic planning initiatives and recommend action plans to drive departmental and company-wide objectives. Collaborate with team leaders to develop and implement effective people management strategies, including staffing, coaching, and mentoring. Lead or participate in strategic projects that drive innovation, process improvements, and customer satisfaction. Recommend and implement process enhancements to optimize customer care operations and improve overall efficiency. Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. Perform other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting the team's success. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To excel in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in business principles, coupled with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will possess: A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent years of experience. A minimum of three years of previous management or leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare or HMO environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Medicaid and the healthcare field, with a strong understanding of the industry's complexities and nuances. Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and maintain high-performing teams. Strong collaboration and conflict resolution skills, with a proven ability to navigate complex situations and drive positive outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and drive engagement.
