Primary Responsibilities Manage data sources to monitor the field execution of vendor programs and assortments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Communicate complex and detailed information to multiple individuals and audiences with varying knowledge levels, both internally and externally. Stay informed of analytic best practices across the industry, providing effective information to deliver sales, margin, and market development goals. Analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions, driving improvement of results and finding solutions to complex problems. Track category performance, including sales, profits, margins, and market share, to inform strategic decisions and optimize outcomes. Develop, communicate, execute, and monitor specific performance metrics and goals relevant to each business as part of regular, scheduled business reviews. Create and deliver effective reports using POS data, Syndicated Data, and account-specific database information in presentation-ready formats, ensuring clarity and insights for stakeholders. Evaluate and make recommendations on supplier performance to enhance the company's inventory and fill rate objectives, driving efficiency and customer satisfaction. Understand and apply customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data to deliver category growth and stay ahead of the competition. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should possess: A Bachelor's Degree and experience within the CPG sector, with Adult Beverage experience being highly preferred; Costco experience is a significant value add. Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to incorporate and interpret data from multiple unrelated data sources into concise, action-oriented recommendations. Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations, with expertise in category management principles, syndicated data, and shopper/consumer insights (Numerator/Spectra, etc.). Ability to collaborate with external retail customers, key suppliers, and internal teams to deliver insights and recommendations, demonstrating assertive leadership and decision-making skills. Preferred experience working with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI), Internal Shipment Data, and Household Panel, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. A proven track record of success, with strong leadership, decision-making capability, and an aptitude for understanding changing market dynamics and resolving complex problems. Physical Demands The physical demands of this role include: Sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) for a considerable amount of time. Occasional to rare amounts of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping. Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime, and weekends.
