About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service 401(k) Specialist to join our remote team. As a crucial member of our Customer Service and inbound Contact Center team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our 401(k) participants, partnering payroll companies, stand-alone plans, and worksite employers. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering a best-in-class experience for our clients, utilizing a range of channels including phone, email, and chat. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound phone, email, and chat inquiries from participants, employers, and PEOs regarding the administration of 401(k) plans. Educate callers on 401(k) regulations, compliance questions, and plan administration, ensuring a thorough understanding of our services. Foster a culture of teamwork, problem-solving, and customer-centricity to provide exceptional customer experiences that emphasize first-call resolution. Provide accurate, timely, and customer-focused service while ensuring department performance metrics, such as quality, handle time, VOC, and adherence, are met. Assist callers with navigating the arenaflex website, registering online, and password resets, ensuring a seamless user experience. Apply knowledge obtained during classroom and on-the-job training to independently solve customer requests, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Utilize multiple CRM applications, such as Salesforce, Relius, and other company systems, to address customer questions and resolve requests efficiently. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of customer service experience, with retirement plan experience being a significant plus. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to change and new ideas. Demonstrated accountability, commitment, and prioritization to meet established deliverables, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general website navigation, as well as the ability to comprehend and utilize contact center software applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team. Familiarity with 401(k) regulations, compliance questions, and plan administration, with a willingness to learn and grow in this area.
