Job Overview This is a contract-to-hire position, offering a competitive hourly rate of $19. The ideal candidate will be available to start on February 3, 2025, and will work from 8 AM to 5 PM CST (9 AM to 6 PM EST) in a remote setting. As a Customer Service Advocate at blithequark, you will serve as the first point of contact for our members and providers, leveraging various communication channels to provide accurate, timely, and personalized support. Your role will be crucial in resolving routine complaints and ensuring that our high standards of customer service are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Receive and respond to member and provider inquiries, requests, and concerns in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism and empathy. Mitigate and prevent complaints from being escalated by resolving issues in the initial contact, showcasing your problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. Serve as the front-line resolution advocate, addressing various member and provider inquiries, requests, or concerns with the aim of providing first-call resolutions. Resolve basic problems by assessing member or provider needs, understanding the cause of issues, and determining if problems need to be routed to other departments for further resolution, all while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain performance and quality standards based on established contact center metrics, continuously striving for improvement and excellence in service delivery. Provide customer service in a high-paced contact center environment over the phone, via live chats, and emails, demonstrating adaptability and the ability to work effectively in multiple communication channels. Document all member or provider information and communications for quality and performance tracking through our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with our quality standards. Remain up-to-date and adhere to quality standards, regulations, and all other policies to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance, contributing to the overall integrity of our operations. Perform other duties as assigned, showcasing your flexibility and willingness to support the team in achieving its objectives. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A High School Diploma or GED, providing a foundational level of education that supports your ability to understand and apply our customer service principles. Call Center/Customer Service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment where you have honed your skills in handling multiple inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling you to analyze situations, identify solutions, and implement them effectively to ensure customer satisfaction. Ability to multi-task, working independently from home free of distractions, and managing your time efficiently to meet performance standards. Ability to work with 4 or more systems simultaneously, demonstrating your technical proficiency and capacity to navigate complex software applications. Interpersonal skills, which are essential for building strong relationships with our members, providers, and internal teams, and for communicating effectively in all interactions. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: 2-year call center experience, which would provide a deeper understanding of contact center operations and the skills required to excel in this environment. 2 years of claims experience, offering insight into the claims process and how it impacts our members and providers, allowing for more informed support. Medicaid knowledge, which would be beneficial in understanding the specific needs and challenges of our members and providers within this context. Previous experience with Microsoft computer applications, enhancing your ability to quickly adapt to our technology platforms and utilize them effectively. Previous experience working remotely using multiple applications and screens, demonstrating your self-motivation, discipline, and technical capabilities in a home-based work setting.
