About the Role As a Customer Service Agent - Cargo Operations at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in our cargo operations team, serving as the face of blithequark to our customers and ensuring that freight is shipped on time, every time, and in a secure manner. This is an entry-level customer service role that offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career with our team. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Process cargo shipments, track packages, and manage customer records with accuracy and attention to detail. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive success. Lift and move cargo, supplies, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety. Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. What You Bring to the Role Essential Qualifications A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. A valid driver's license is necessary. Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential. The ability to lift and move cargo, supplies, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds is required. A commitment to safety and security, adhering to blithequark's policies and procedures. A willingness to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in cargo handling, warehouse operations, or a related field is highly desirable. Strong typing and computer skills, with proficiency in multiple software applications. A degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
