At arenaflex, our people are our success, and we're dedicated to helping you reach your full potential. **Key Responsibilities** As a Ramp Agent, you'll be responsible for ensuring our customers' baggage and cargo arrive safely and on time. Your daily tasks will include: * Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, in addition to guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions. * Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather. * Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion. * Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination. **Work Environment and Physical Demands** As a Ramp Agent, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands that include bending, lifting, standing, and walking. You'll be required to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow. You'll also be responsible for wearing required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety and the safety of others. **Scheduling and Work Hours** Scheduling is based on operational needs, and shifts range from early morning to overnight. Each station is different based on its individual flight schedule, and you'll work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on your seniority. **Compensation and Benefits** As a Ramp Agent, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of $16.55 per hour, with regular pay increases through 10.5 years.
