Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Agent to join our team in Jesup, IA. As a Customer Service Agent, you will play a vital role in building strong relationships with our customers by responding to inbound phone calls, resolving challenges, and providing exceptional service. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Building customer relationships by responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls in a professional and courteous manner Working collaboratively with customers and sales team members to resolve challenges and provide exceptional service Utilizing computer programs and systems to manage customer accounts, process orders, and resolve issues Resolving pricing and invoicing discrepancies, applying credit, and implementing return procedures as needed Providing product information and recommendations to customers to meet their needs and exceed their expectations Working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software A secure workspace at home dedicated to job activity, with stable internet and the ability to provide proof of internet speeds greater than 5 megabits per second upload, 15 megabits per second download, and ping less than 80 milliseconds Ability to commute to our facility from your home, with a reliable means of transportation Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid environment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of inventory management and technical support principles, with the ability to provide solutions and recommendations to customers Experience working with customers in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations Proficiency in a second language, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and provide solutions to customers Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our team members with opportunities for growth and development.
