Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Customer Service and Operations Analyst to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our Global Merchant and Network Services (GMNS) Functional Excellence group, you will play a critical role in driving risk-based decisioning and management of control and compliance objectives to support business needs while promoting a strong culture of risk management. Your expertise in data analysis, process improvement, and project management will help us drive automation, enhance reporting and analytics, and deliver meaningful insights to inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities Partner closely with the GMNS business and stakeholders to implement enhanced and automated Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting and analytics Identify process improvements and implement prevention strategies to mitigate operational risk in close collaboration with the broader Functional Excellence team and GMNS groups Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and proactive factors, and provide perspective on operational risk Leverage unstructured data sources to identify potential process breakdowns and opportunities for improvement Develop recurring, consistent management Control and Compliance reporting and insights Enhance root cause analysis framework and develop improved analysis and insights Continuously track control and compliance metrics to improve rating and inform risk-based self-assessment Provide support for designated projects aimed at improving the control environment, mitigating, and remediating risk Proactively analyze data to respond to key questions from stakeholders and develop reports and presentations, including gathering data, extrapolating key elements, and presenting findings in a compelling format Essential Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and interpret data to generate meaningful business insights Experience in process improvement, project management, and data analysis, with a focus on driving automation and enhancing reporting and analytics Knowledge of operational risk concepts and programs, balanced with the ability to drive assessment of risks against effective controls and tests Proven ability to adapt quickly to changing needs, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS-Excel, Tableau, HIVE, SQL, and/or SAS, Python, and Foundation Utilization of statistical methods and knowledge of Hadoop, Big Data is preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience in the merchant business, related regulatory landscape, and emerging trends/models is preferred Knowledge of functional risk concepts and programs, balanced with the ability to drive assessment of risks against effective controls and tests Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we're committed to helping our associates grow and develop in their careers.
