You will be the face of our brand, and your enthusiasm, knowledge, and skills will make a significant difference in our customers' shopping experiences. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported. * Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. * Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are easily accessible and visible to customers. * Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any concerns or issues that may arise. * Perform all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, inventory management, and loss prevention initiatives. **Position Requirements** * Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. * Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. * Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedules to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing store needs and priorities. **Essential Skills and Competencies** * Customer Focus: Provide exceptional service to customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner. * Developing Potential: Identify opportunities to develop and grow as a customer service representative, seeking feedback and guidance from colleagues and supervisors. * Results Driven: Meet or exceed sales and customer service targets, contributing to the success of the store and the company as a whole. * Strong Organizational Skills: Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, prioritizing and completing tasks efficiently and effectively. * Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors, using verbal and non-verbal communication skills to build strong relationships and resolve conflicts. * Problem Solving/Decision Making: Analyze problems and make informed decisions, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and issues. * Job Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, company policies, and procedures, using this knowledge to provide accurate and helpful information to customers. * Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers, using interpersonal skills to resolve conflicts and improve customer satisfaction. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills and careers.
