Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be an integral part of our Athlete Engagement Team, providing exceptional service to our athletes through phone and chat support. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about sports, enjoy building meaningful relationships, and are skilled at resolving complex issues. As the second tier of customer support, you will be empowered to conduct in-depth investigations, resolve questions and concerns, and create epic athlete experiences. Key Responsibilities Partner with athletes to address questions and concerns via phone or chat, providing clear and empathetic communication. Resolve Tier 2 escalation calls and chats, taking ownership of concerns and solving problems with enthusiasm and positivity. Build relationships that go above and beyond, making each interaction matter and ensuring every athlete leaves with a smile. Utilize appropriate processes, online programs, and technology to resolve issues efficiently and accurately, including gear advice, order hiccups, and loyalty account management. Collaborate with internal and external partners, such as blithequark stores, shipping companies, and other Athlete Engagement Teammates, to support issue resolution and share knowledge. Tackle challenges head-on, troubleshooting technical issues, reporting sensitive concerns, and investigating potential incidents, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Engage in team events and culture-building initiatives, offering recommendations to supervisors on how to create better athlete experiences and being a positive voice within the team. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent. Less than 1 year of experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer service, retail, food service, or hospitality (part-time experience is acceptable). High-speed internet and an Ethernet port. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TEAMS. Experience with IVR (Five9), CRM, or order management lookup tools is a plus, as well as knowledge of loyalty and gift card platforms. Essential Skills and Competencies A passion for sports and building strong communities, with a knack for sharing that passion with others. Stellar communication skills, with the ability to score big points in problem-solving and conflict resolution. Bilingual skills are a plus, with the ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking athletes.
