As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting our Health Texas project by providing exceptional customer care and benefit enrollment services via telephone, IVR, and web-based portals. About the Role In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls from consumers, including the general public, prospective enrollees, and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf. You will track and document all inquiries using applicable systems, complete associated tasks according to established guidelines, and meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics. You will also facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download, transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to established guidelines, and escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed. Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls from consumers, including the general public, prospective enrollees, and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf, in accordance with all performance standards, policy, and procedures, and protocols, including but not limited to confidentiality and privacy policies. Track and document all inquiries using applicable systems. Complete associated tasks according to established guidelines. Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics. Facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download. Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to established guidelines. Escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed. Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures. Attend meetings and trainings as requested and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or GED and have 0-6 months of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Customer Service experience is preferred, and you must reside in the state of Texas, within 70 miles of El Paso. Additional Requirements: Must be able to work onsite on Day 1 for equipment training. Must be able to complete classroom and on-the-job training with no time missed. Must be willing and able to work with webcam on during training and other meetings as instructed by management. Reliable, high-speed internet service with minimum 20 Mbps download speeds. Must be a traditional, wired high-speed connection such as cable or fiber. Must be able to connect your computer directly to your modem or router via ethernet cable; Wi-Fi connections are not allowed. Quiet and distraction-free workspace.
