Our National Campaigns Unit is dedicated to providing top-notch support to our clients and their shareholders, and we are now seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in a fully remote capacity. Job Overview In this exciting role, you will be responsible for handling inbound, outbound, and email responses related to shareholder communications, with a focus on contested proxy meetings. Your primary objective will be to provide accurate and helpful information to shareholders, addressing their concerns and directing them on how to vote. You will be working on behalf of our internal clients, such as Computershare and Georgeson, to ensure that their messages are conveyed effectively to shareholders. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls, as well as email responses, in a professional and courteous manner Provide accurate and helpful information to shareholders, addressing their concerns and directing them on how to vote Communicate effectively with shareholders to convey the message that management has their best interest in mind Direct shareholders on where to vote and provide guidance on the voting process Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest information and best practices Meet productivity and quality standards, ensuring that all interactions with shareholders are handled efficiently and effectively Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A High School Diploma or GED At least 6 months of customer service, data entry, or related experience A good speaking voice and excellent communication skills Ability to read and correct grammar/English speaking Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment Knowledge of shareholder communications and proxy meetings Experience working with internal clients and conveying their messages to shareholders Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications Equipment Requirements To perform this role, you will need to have the following equipment: A MacBook (with current operating system) or Windows (10 or 11) computer USB headsets (no wireless) Dual monitors (beneficial but not required) Internet speed of 50 download/10 upload Ability to come off mute when called on, participate in chat, and complete tasks as requested Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication skills : ability to communicate effectively with shareholders, internal clients, and team members Strong problem-solving skills : ability to think critically and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment Adaptability : ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Technical skills : proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications Time management skills : ability to manage time effectively and meet productivity and quality standards Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
