The Role: Customer Service Representative The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in our organization, prioritizing activities related to supporting our customers' order processing and fulfillment. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication throughout all stages of booking, planning, and delivery. Your expertise and positive attitude will be essential in addressing customer needs, developing knowledge of our product line, and collaborating with internal departments to resolve issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Interact with internal departments to gather necessary information and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner Answer and process incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with a positive and can-do attitude Develop and maintain knowledge of our product line, pricing, delivery times, and other relevant data Enter orders into our system with a focus on accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and requirements Work independently in a multi-department office environment, advising sales representatives and brokers on customer order fulfillment issues and recommended resolutions Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve problems efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong attention to detail, excellent multi-tasking abilities, and very strong communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Access and EDI is preferred, along with experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and 10 Key entries. A high school graduate or Associate Degree holder with 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is required. A combination of experience and education will be considered, and we encourage applicants with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to apply.
