Job Summary We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. This role is ideal for individuals who reside in Texas and are passionate about delivering compassionate, genuine care to patients and customers in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revifying benefits Assist patients with translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues Provide superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners, ensuring the timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations Demonstrate compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Required Qualifications One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology What We Offer At blithequark, we are committed to providing a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to our employees.
