About the Role As a Customer Service Representative (Healthcare) – Remote, you will be working from the comfort of your own home, providing inbound customer support to our healthcare clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist members with their insurance-related needs, including inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, appeals, grievances, and troubleshooting medical devices. You will be the face of our organization, providing a positive and welcoming experience to our members, being empathetic, and answering their inquiries thoroughly and professionally. Key Responsibilities Provide inbound customer support via phone, email, or chat Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using agreed-upon procedures Assess all in-bound calls to accurately and efficiently address member's needs by maintaining a strong customer focus Be patient and compassionate while working as a team player and using all available resources to provide the best outcome to the member Be efficient in navigating multiple systems and delivering expert customer experiences with a smile Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for helping others and a strong customer service orientation. You should have a minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, a verifiable High School diploma or GED, and basic computer navigation skills and PC knowledge. You should also be proficient in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and be eager to learn new technologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the healthcare industry or a related field Knowledge of insurance-related concepts, including benefits, eligibility, and appeals Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
