About the Role We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, connecting with our members and their families to provide exceptional customer service and support. You'll be the face of our organization, and your passion for helping others will make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls from customers and identify the type of assistance they need, providing timely and effective solutions to their questions and concerns Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to understand our members' needs, documenting required information in our computer systems and ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively Own problems through to resolution on behalf of our customers, providing comprehensive and timely follow-up to ensure that all issues are fully addressed Review and research incoming healthcare claims from members and providers, navigating multiple computer systems and platforms to verify data and ensure that claims are processed accurately and efficiently Communicate and collaborate with members and providers to resolve issues, using clear and simple language to ensure understanding and providing exceptional customer service at all times Meet performance goals established for the position, including efficiency, accuracy, quality, member satisfaction, and attendance, and continually strive to improve your skills and knowledge to provide the best possible service to our members Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a high school diploma or equivalent experience, as well as at least one year of prior experience in a call center setting and one year of experience in a customer service role. You should also have experience working in the health care and health insurance industry, as well as knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in a metric-driven work environment.
