About the Role This full-time, fully remote position offers the unique opportunity to work with families, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout the treatment process. As a Customer Service Representative – Parent Liaison at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for many of our families, and your ability to build rapport, educate, and empathize will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all parties involved. Your working hours will be from 11:30am to 8pm EDT (8:30am to 5pm PDT), and you will be expected to manage a high volume of calls, averaging between 40 to 70 daily, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service to families over the phone, addressing their concerns, and providing detailed information about our services and treatment processes. Accurately enter patient registration information and schedule initial appointments, identifying potential conflicts or trends for each clinic schedule. Coordinate information between referring physicians, insurance companies, and our treatment clinics to ensure a smooth and efficient process for all parties. Review cost share amounts, co-payments, and financial responsibilities with families, ensuring transparency and understanding of the treatment costs. Handle variable call volumes on multiple queues, prioritizing tasks and managing your workload effectively to meet the high demands of the role. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. A proactive mindset, coupled with the ability to absorb new information quickly, will be essential in navigating the complexities of our treatment processes and insurance procedures. The ideal candidate will have: 1-2 years of customer service or related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. 1-2 years of experience with computer software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems. Exceptional phone etiquette and human relations skills, with a professional demeanor in all interactions. The ability to problem-solve and prioritize daily tasks to manage individual workload effectively. A strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient information.
