About the Role As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service support to our Review Team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home and enjoy a great work-life balance. You will be responsible for interacting with beneficiaries and providers via our helpline, creating and proofreading letters, and maintaining timely communication. Your excellent decision-making skills will be essential in handling complex appeals and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service support to our Review Team, including interacting with beneficiaries and providers via our helpline Create, format, and proofread letters and other correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate communication Maintain effective working relationships between our internal and external customers, fostering a positive and supportive environment Assist in identifying areas for potential improvement, participating in case reviews and process evaluations Answer the Beneficiary Helpline, utilizing our hunt group and available light functions to determine the best course of action for each caller Validate notices and medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness Provide intake for all appeals received by arenaflex, ensuring efficient and effective processing Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent, with post-high school business courses being helpful Medical terminology knowledge, or a willingness to learn Excellent verbal communication skills, with a courteous and patient demeanor Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communication skills Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers General knowledge of PC-based computer systems, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work independently Preferred Experience: Two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology, with previous data entry or other clerical experience being a plus Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
