Our remote work setup allows you to work from the comfort of your own home, enjoying the flexibility and work-life balance that comes with it. **What You'll Do** As a remote customer service representative at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include: * Completing daily tasks related to account processing, object processing, direct bills, and budget transfers * Coordinating with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations * Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing * Working on member cases and sports assigned to you * Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws * Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, financial ruin, and payoff exams * Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products * Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns * Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching * Completing daily balancing and department closing * Obtaining information from contributors for timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget switch requests * Researching and affirming incoming and outgoing budget switch information * Communicating with vendors to facilitate budget transfers * Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget switch laws * Depositing check returns, studying member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers * Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and penal fees **What You'll Need for Success** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following minimum qualifications: * High school degree or GED * Intermediate Excel and Word experience **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous customer/member service experience * Previous banking or Credit Union experience * Episys/Symitar and processing wires **Essential Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or education and hands-on use of the software * Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure conditions * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines * Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance * Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
