We're now seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and help us deliver an incredible customer experience. **The Role** As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in building reliable, scalable data pipelines that transform raw data into core business metrics. You'll work closely with data engineers, software engineers, and CS business owners to design and develop custom visualization tools that surface CS insights. Your expertise will help us optimize our Customer Service investments, improve our product based on member feedback, and create a delightful, efficient experience for our customers. **Key Responsibilities** * Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and CS business owners to build reliable, scalable data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Presto, Spark, Flink) on medium to large-scale data sets (10s of millions of records). * Design and develop custom visualization tools that surface CS insights, working with data engineers and software engineers to ensure seamless integration. * Transform raw data into core business metrics, using advanced SQL skills and data modeling expertise to create adaptable structures that evolve with changes in source data or business processes. * Develop and maintain high-quality, clean, and supportable code in Python or Scala, with a strong focus on data quality and analytical aptitude. * Work autonomously to prioritize business problems, develop metrics, and drive data-driven decision-making. * Communicate effectively with analysts, engineers, and business leaders to ensure seamless collaboration and partnership. **Essential Qualifications** * At least 4 years of experience engineering data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Presto, Spark, Flink) on medium to large-scale data sets (10s of millions of records). * Strong data modeling skills, with the ability to design structures that adapt to changes in source data or business processes. * Advanced SQL skills and a passion for data quality, with a strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts. * Strong proficiency in Python or Scala, with a focus on writing clean, supportable code. * Analytical aptitude and ability to think through business problems, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making. * Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with analysts, engineers, and business leaders. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). * Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js) and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). * Strong understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, iterative environment. * Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks, with a strong focus on data security and compliance. **arenaflex Culture** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
