Job Overview As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring that their needs are met quickly and courteously. Key Responsibilities Greet and engage with customers to ensure their needs are met both quickly and courteously, providing personalized service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Prepare food items such as breakfast items, built-to-order sandwiches, specialty beverages, and pizzas, while maintaining a clean and organized coffee station. Operate the cash register, handle payments, activate fuel and gift cards, and assist with lottery and ID verification for age-restricted products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Ensure our stores are well-stocked and that our shelves remain fresh, full, and inviting, contributing to a positive customer shopping experience. Help keep our stores clean and safe by following all established policies, procedures, and guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Complete store housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and more, ensuring a clean and safe store environment. Essential Qualifications Great communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask like a pro, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently. Must be 16+ years old with reliable transportation, ensuring consistent attendance and punctuality. Enjoys working in a team environment, contributing to a positive and collaborative work culture. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or food service environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register, with accuracy and efficiency. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of energy and productivity. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, ensuring adequate coverage and support for the team. Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits At blithequark, we offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $15.00 to $18.75, commensurate with position, experience, and location. Additionally, associates in this position will receive a $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 12am - 6am.
