About the Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team, working from the comfort of your own home in Ohio. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for answering inbound customer calls, problem-solving, and assisting our customers with their orders and accounts. Key Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner Assist customers with questions, personalizing the experience for each caller Process transactions, including confirming refunds, taking payments, and placing orders Analyze account data to resolve customer issues efficiently Opportunity for advancement and upward mobility across the entire blithequark family of brands Report to your Customer Service Supervisor and work collaboratively with the team Essential Qualifications Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a virtual environment with a set schedule and structured day Strong technical skills, including navigating multiple systems and screens Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work with IT when needed Availability to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours as required Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or call center environment Experience working with computer systems and software applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, peers, and leaders. You will also need to be highly organized, with strong time management and problem-solving skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is essential. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting rate of $15.00 per hour, with additional pay for hours worked between 6pm-6am and on weekends. Training Schedule Your employment with blithequark begins with a six-week paid training program, which requires full attendance and involvement throughout. The training schedule and working schedule after training will be different, and you will be provided with a detailed schedule during the onboarding process. System Requirements To work from home with blithequark, you will need to meet our system requirements, which include: A self-provided computer or laptop with a Microsoft Windows operating system, Windows 10 or newer, and no more than three years old A headset compatible with blithequark specifications (we reimburse $75 for the headset) A high-speed internet connection (satellite, broadband, wireless, or dial-up services are not an option) Note that Mac/Apple products, Chromebooks, Surfaces, and notebooks are not supported The Application Process Our application process is candidate-led, and each notification for the next step will be sent to the email address you provide.
