You will work from the comfort of your own home, using a self-scheduling platform to select your working hours within our operational hours of 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM ET, seven days a week. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. **Key Responsibilities** * Answer incoming calls from customers and respond to their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner * Review customer history as necessary to provide personalized service * Follow policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy * Help customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues * Process refunds and resolve customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner * Place outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues * Document information and outcomes as necessary to maintain accurate records * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional service **Essential Qualifications** * Prior customer service experience is required, with a minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role * Strong geographical knowledge and experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is preferred * Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with customers * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process customer information and resolve issues * Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment * Strong typing skills, with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute * Highly proficient in using the internet and navigating seamlessly between multiple applications * Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a call center or customer service environment * Knowledge of the travel industry and its products and services * Ability to speak multiple languages * Experience using CRM software and other customer service tools * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues **Technical Requirements** * Computer and equipment meeting the following specifications: + Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite) + Operating System: Windows 10 + Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above + Memory: 8GB of RAM + Hard Drive: 256GB + Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset **Work Environment and Culture** arenaflex is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
