You will work closely with our team to provide information and assistance to individuals, families, small group employees, and brokers seeking information, enrollment assistance, and other services related to the Maryland Health Connection (MHC). Your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing exceptional customer service to MHC customers via phone, email, and chat * Assisting individuals with Medicaid eligibility and enrollment * Processing services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange * Utilizing the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties * Ensuring delivery of high-quality service for all Maryland consumers **Responsibilities:** * Provide exceptional customer service to MHC customers via phone, email, and chat * Assist individuals with Medicaid eligibility and enrollment * Process services applications and enrollments for Qualified Health Plans on the Exchange * Utilize the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and CRM software to perform tasks and duties * Ensure delivery of high-quality service for all Maryland consumers * Meet productivity and quality standards * Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge * Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives **Requirements:** * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification * Background in health care, human services, or customer service * Experience in data entry and call centers * Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse and disadvantaged populations in a courteous and effective manner * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills * Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment * Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working with Medicaid or other government programs * Knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures * Bilingual or multilingual skills * Experience with CRM software and other State systems **Equipment and Internet Requirements:** * Desktop or laptop with Intel Core i5 Processor or higher with 8GB Memory (No Celeron or Pentium processors) * Desktop or laptop with a minimum of 256GB hard drive * Windows 10 or 11 * Minimum of 1 USB Gen 2 or newer port (wired headset) * 1 RJ-45 connection for a wired connection to internet router * Wired Headset and microphone with a USB Gen2 or newer connection * Video camera capability, necessary for training * Wired internet connection from computer to router or modem * Download speed 100 MBPS minimum * Upload speed 10 MBPS minimum **Training Schedule:** * Training will take place between 9:30am-6:00pm EST, Monday-Friday (Days 1-7) * Training will continue between 9:30am-6:00pm EST, Monday-Friday (Days 8-15) * Nesting will take place between 9:30am-6:00pm EST for 4 weeks * Monday-Friday schedules will remain between 9:30am-6:00pm after training **Attendance Requirements:** * Must have perfect attendance during training and nesting (7 weeks) * One (1) absence during training or nesting can lead to termination **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
