Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team, providing exceptional assistance in ordering blood and plasma derivatives, transfusion-related products, and supplies. As a vital member of our team, you will maintain hospital inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide support and guidance to volunteers. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service, and that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Receive and process routine orders for blood and pharmaceutical products, ensuring accurate order entry and fulfillment. Maintain and manage data, tools, and computer programs to facilitate product and service information, rotating inventory to ensure adequate supplies. Provide exceptional customer service, proactively communicating with hospital customers to increase satisfaction and resolve issues. Investigate and resolve hospital shipment problems, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Assist hospital personnel with inventory alternatives, providing guidance and support when requested products are unavailable. Maintain positive and professional communications, both internally and externally, to promote teamwork and ensure seamless operations. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Progressive experience in a dynamic, multi-task operational environment, with a preference for experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management, hospital customer relations, or logistics. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with outstanding interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of customers and staff. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively, and problem-solving and analytical skills. Working knowledge of computers, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service and support. Knowledge of blood or pharmaceutical inventory management, hospital customer relations, or logistics, with a understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and support volunteers and team members.
