Job Overview and Responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inbound Customer Service Representative to join our Sleep Central Inbound Call Center team. As a key member of our team, you will serve as the first line of contact for CPAP resupply customers, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless communication with patients, physicians, and internal stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include new order intake, product selection, and utilization guidelines, as well as verifying and entering accurate patient demographics, payer, and physician-related information. Key Responsibilities: Act as a patient advocate to resolve questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner Collect patient and source information, inputting data into our e-Intake system with high accuracy Complete thorough verification for products and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and FDA and JCAHO guidelines Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, providing basic technical customer service assistance for CPAP equipment Manage all aspects of initial intake via high-volume inbound phone calls, processing related patient paperwork, and tickets to ensure timely fulfillment of product orders Provide education to patients and location employees on CPAP supplies, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction Utilize our e-Intake proprietary system to maintain accuracy and quality control throughout initial patient contact and data input Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you should possess: A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with one to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment Experience in the medical field and administrative record management, with a strong customer service background Basic computer and internet skills, with proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interpret a variety of instructions and maintain confidentiality Knowledge of medical terminology, billing reimbursement, and insurance policies and requirements (preferred) Self-motivation, organization, time-management, and deductive problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical billing practices and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME) Knowledge of sleep therapy and CPAP equipment, with a strong understanding of patient needs and concerns Certifications or training in customer service, medical terminology, or a related field Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
