About the Role The Customer Solutions Specialist I will be responsible for handling homeowner and service professional escalations, evaluating the risk of each escalation, and providing appropriate solutions to resolve complaints while mitigating ongoing risk. As a Customer Solutions Specialist I, you will be the voice of arenaflex, and your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in de-escalating complaints and providing high-level customer service. Key Responsibilities Utilize empathy and discernment to address consumer complaints and provide personalized solutions De-escalate complaints in line with arenaflex's Operating Principles, ensuring a high-quality marketplace and excellent customer experience Evaluate the risk and nature of customer concerns, providing appropriate solutions within company guidelines and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Evaluate case documents, pictures, and proof provided, respecting process and policy, and identifying next steps for the customer Provide high-level customer service for both email ticketing and phone, with excellent written and verbal skills, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer complaints Take steps to minimize exposure to pro accounts when applicable, protecting the interests of arenaflex and its customers Assist with any escalations-related tasks as business needs dictate, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in customer service, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You should be comfortable maintaining a high volume of cases and outbound calls each day, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to make critical decisions autonomously, think on your feet, and pivot quickly in response to changing circumstances. Your ability to have tough conversations, handle objections, and utilize strong problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving customer complaints and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints Comfort with maintaining a high volume of cases and outbound calls each day, with excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to make critical decisions autonomously, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take ownership of customer complaints Ability to think on your feet and pivot quickly, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to have tough conversations, handle objections, and utilize strong problem-solving skills, with a strong desire to succeed and grow in your role Positive, professional, and high-energy attitude, with a strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong computer skills, particularly with internet and applications, such as Salesforce and Google Suite Ability to work remotely from a private setting, with a hardwire and high-speed internet connection, and utilize a phone headset for up to 8 hours per day Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the home service industry and its unique challenges Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service and resolving customer complaints Experience working with escalated calls, with strong emotional intelligence and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex customer complaints and provide personalized solutions Experience working in a remote environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and work independently Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
