The Customer Support Engineering team at arenaflex is an integral part of the Customer Success organization, focusing on understanding customers' environments, questions, and issues to provide the best possible experience with arenaflex products and services. About the Role As a Customer Support Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch technical support to customers, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns. This is a remote position, but you must be located within U.S. time zones to ensure seamless communication and support. Your primary objective will be to provide exceptional customer experiences, ensuring that customers receive timely and effective solutions to their technical issues. Key Responsibilities Immerse yourself in learning arenaflex products, support processes, and internal tools to develop a deep understanding of the company's offerings and customer needs. Troubleshoot technical issues, working closely with customers to resolve their questions, concerns, and problems in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with the Field Engineering team, acting as a Subject Matter Expert in specific areas of interest within the product, to provide guidance and support. Work with Sales, Field Engineering, and Product Engineering teams to understand and resolve customer issues completely and expediently. Establish and maintain a solid technical understanding of arenaflex products and how customers build, deploy, and manage applications using the platform. Streamline and improve processes, tools, and product offerings to enhance the overall customer experience. Communicate effectively with all levels of customer contacts, including CTOs, management, developers, and operations teams, providing valuable guidance and insight through various channels. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Support Engineer at arenaflex, you should possess the following essential qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing support role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical fields, with a strong foundation in database technologies and/or graph database technologies. Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams. A passion for solving customer problems, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership. Ability to handle a range of urgent to minor support requests during business hours, with occasional off-hours scheduled work and on-call shifts. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate for this role: Experience working with cloud-based solutions, such as Snowflake and Azure. Background in troubleshooting performance issues with customer technology and arenaflex products. Familiarity with log files, threads dumps, stack traces, sample code, and other data points used for timely triage of varying issues. Ability to advise and troubleshoot client applications, with a deep understanding of how arenaflex products fit into the customer's overall architecture.
