About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Support Specialist to join our CPC Processor team. This is a full-time, remote call center role that offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume production environment, providing exceptional support to patients, insurance companies, and attorneys. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing medical record requests, documenting information in multiple platforms, and ensuring seamless communication with our clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Process medical record requests via phone calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys, providing timely and accurate updates on medical record status. Document information in multiple platforms using dual computer monitors, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency. Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, to perform tasks and maintain records. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Participate in comprehensive onsite/virtual training programs, followed by job shadowing with an assigned mentor, to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing environment, preferably in a healthcare setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and provide compassionate support. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Comfortable working in a remote call center setting, with reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with medical records or in a healthcare-related field. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and laws, such as HIPAA. Previous experience with data entry or documentation in multiple platforms. Certifications or training in customer service, medical terminology, or a related field.
