We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst and Workflow Systems Specialist to join our Platform Services & Operations group in Core OS. As a Workflow Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in laying out and broadening important workflow tooling at scale, enabling teams to deliver high-quality software through high-quality class engineering experiences, efficient workflow, data-driven insights, and a culture of continuous improvement. Job Overview In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely and deliver valuable data and insights to partners across the organization, providing training and support for workflow initiatives. Your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and SQL will be essential in developing key metrics, recommending policy changes, and delivering action plans to all levels of leadership. As a Dashboard Developer, you will visualize key metrics and progress towards goals, and as an Analyst, you will provide insight and visualization expertise to a mature group of Data Scientists and Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize key metrics and progress towards goals Provide insight and visualization expertise to a mature group of Data Scientists and Engineers Characterize the current state of the workflow, profile complex systems, and identify areas for improvement Identify trends and patterns in large data sets and translate insights into wins Work directly with partner teams to drive workflow initiatives and provide training and support Develop and maintain iterative dashboard designs, gathering feedback and improving end products Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst Solid working knowledge of Analytics: visualization, statistics, and the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive) Ability to show research into insight: develop key metrics, recommend policy changes, and deliver action plans to all levels of leadership Advanced Tableau developer skills Capable SQL person: aggregation, nested queries, and data inspection/validation B.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with: Familiarity with Software Development Analytics: CICD, DORA metrics, and LEAN software transport Experience in Software Development: knowledge of build pipelines, merging, checking systems and methods, and the transport of code Product Ownership: experience driving efforts and generating concrete results through analytics Project management: experience planning and driving efforts, working across associate teams towards a unified goal Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
