Job Overview As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for accurately entering data into our QuickClaim system, identifying document types, and reviewing and verifying entered data to meet or exceed quality requirements. You will also ensure the confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA standards. This is a remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own space while being part of a dynamic team. With part-time and full-time openings available, you can choose the schedule that best suits your needs, with a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data in the QuickClaim system using a constant supply of images Identify document types based on provided documentation Review and verify entered data to meet or exceed quality requirements Ensure all Personal Health Information (PHI) is kept confidential following HIPAA standards Professionally interact with other staff as needed Make recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes Work until all tasks are completed for the day Perform other basic office duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications To succeed as a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Essential Skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to multitask and move quickly Ability to stay focused and on-task High attention to detail while being efficient Quick learner, ability to follow basic or difficult instructions when needed Required to maintain confidentiality of client data Must be able to read and speak English Typing skills: 50 WPM @ 95% accuracy (WPM Typing Test) and 4,500 KPH @ 95% accuracy (KPH Typing Test) Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in data entry or a related field Familiarity with healthcare operations and processes Knowledge of HIPAA standards and confidentiality protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
