About the Job We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our customers have the best and fastest experience possible. As an Operations Technician at arenaflex, you will install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware (like servers and its components) and server software (like arenaflex's Linux cluster). You'll also take on the configuration of more complex components such as networks, routers, hubs, bridges, switches, and networking protocols. Key Responsibilities Contribute and lead efforts/tasks in the deployment, maintenance, and support of modern and new data center infrastructure. Participate in or lead troubleshooting and resolve critical or escalated technical issues. Test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs. Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS-associated issues on servers. Deploy and maintain arenaflex's advanced data center server and network infrastructure. Collaborate and partner with people and teams to overcome problems. Lead small project teams on large installations and develop project contingency plans. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience troubleshooting hardware or community-associated troubles using Linux-based tools. Experience in hardware, networking equipment, operating systems, and data center operations. A high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: Experience working within a data center or network operation center environment. Experience with light coding or scripting. Experience with networking protocols. Ability to collaborate and partner with people and teams to overcome problems.
